１．Travertine pattern
The feature: natural marble travertine pattern reproduced ceiling material. It has a different feeling from Gyptone and fits best to make a beautiful ceiling.

Color tone: Marble color tone is limited to white or ivory.
２．Star design pattern
The feature: Numberless star design pattern is processed on the board surface, so the unique feeling is shown. It makes bright and soft feeling ceiling.

The difference between Gyptone and gypsum board

〇Gyptone

Fixing method: Driving a small screw and fixing it.
〇Gypsum board
It is the same way until direct sticking on LGS, and after that finishing becomes necessary to do.
If you are kind of particular about finishing, we recommend you to do this.
Installing on LGS groundwork
Drilling and tapping use screw：
We select the screw whose length is equal to or longer than 10mm of the board thickness.
We tighten the screw whose head is a little hollowed on the board surface.
In the case of double layer
In the case of installing upper sticking board on wooden or steel groundwork
When fastening a screw, we use the appropriate length screw to match the board thickness, and tighten the screw head which is a little hollowed on the surface.
In the case of installing the upper layer board to the lower layer board
By using adhesive agent, we install them together with staple and so on.

＋Durability, and repair and restoration
Gypsum board(plaster board)
【Durability】
・Fire resistance: It has high fire resistance, and in case of fire too, it defends from fire spreading.
Gypsum itself includes crystal water. When the temperature becomes high, as it will give off as vapor, there is an effect of delaying fire spreading.
・Heat insulating property: It has an excellent heat insulating property, and there is an effect of stabilizing the room temperature.
・ Sound insulating property: By using it with the proper way, when the construction, it will exhibit high sound insulating property.
・Weak points: It is weak at point impact, same as gypsum board.
It is not waterproofing in the same manner too. In humid places, the strength may go down.
【Repair and restoration method】
・A small hole and/or crack
By using gypsum putty, they can be easily repaired and restored.
By coating putty, after drying, we flatten it with sand paper, then by painting and/or sticking so-called decorative cloth again, it is possible to return it to the original situation.
・A big damage, hurting
In the case of a big hole and/or deep crack, there is a repair and restoration method by cutting out the damaged place, and fitting a new gypsum board.
It needs to be putty coated at the joint, then to smoothen it on the surface.
Gyptone
Fire resistance：It has the same level fire resistance with Gypsum board.
・Heat insulating property：It has the same level heat insulating property with Gypsum board.
・Designability：While maintaining the beautiful appearance too, it also has practicability together.
・Weak points: Same as gypsum board, it is weak at point impact.
It is weak at water too in the same manner. In the humid place, the strength goes down.
【Repair and restoration method】
・A small hole and/or crack：As the design is with open holes, a small repair and restoration is not conspicuous.
However, it is popular to use gypsum putty coating method for repair and restoration.
・A big damage and hurting
In the case of damage and hurting, same as gypsum board, we carry out the repair and restoration of cutting out the damaged and hurted place, then fitting a new Gyptone panel.
In order to make the joint inconspicuous, it is necessary to finish it by combining putty treatment and designing.
Summary
Durability: The both have high fire resistance and heat insulating property.
But, they are in common on weakness at point impact and humidity.
Repair and restoration: It is possible to repair and restore a small damage and hurting by using gypsum putty easily. But, in the case of a big damage and/or hurting, it is necessary to fit a new board and panel.
As Gyptone has designability, painting again after repair and restoration may be required sometimes.
Like this, on durability and repair and restoration method too, it is important to select either appropriately according to the using place and the purpose.
Gyptone and gypsum board are the two materials which have different characteristics and application fields in the interior decorative work.
