Hello, this is Kikuchi Soken Co., Ltd.

We are based in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, and provide interior construction and restoration services across the Kanto region and throughout Japan.

Today, we would like to introduce a new restaurant interior construction project carried out in Koishikawa, Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo.

In particular, this article will focus on the ceiling LGS (light gauge steel) framework and PB (plasterboard) installation, along with photos from the job site.

LGS Ceiling Framework Installation

The work began from a bare skeleton state, starting with the installation of LGS.
With numerous HVAC ducts and facility piping in the ceiling area, precision in layout and non-interference with existing systems were key to success.

This photo shows how the LGS framework was carefully constructed to navigate around ductwork and equipment.
Both pre-construction planning and on-site adjustments were crucial.

The framing extended to the ceiling, walls, and counter areas, all constructed with precise measurements.
Due to the high density of piping and ducts, such restaurant interiors often present complex challenges.

Plasterboard Installation (PB Work)

Next, after completing the LGS framework, PB was installed one panel at a time with care.
Special attention was required around electrical equipment and openings, making this a highly skilled process.

Here is a look at the completed interior after finishing touches were applied.
The ceiling, ventilation hoods, and indirect lighting have been beautifully integrated, resulting in a stylish and functional dining environment.

Please note that our scope of work for this project covered only the LGS ceiling framing and PB installation.
However, as you can see, the full buildout resulted in a beautiful finished space.

Today, we are explaining the below pictures at a kitchen construction work process in a housing room.

In the first place, , we mount LGS(=light gauge steel) at a vacant room situation.

We go on surrounding constriction work. Glueing board and doing other construction work, the kitchen turns out to be easy to realize, doesn’t it?.

We also go on glueing board at the kitchen.

The kitchen model is almost completed finishing work, isn’t it? From here, various construction works are further done with cloth or the like, and the room is becoming kitchen.

About the design or others, if the customer requests, the room will be transformed into various kitchen type.

We have installed new signboard at our company’s No.1 service office(=new office).

Adopting our logo mark, also symbol mark, with two colors, green and pink, the signboard has become white wall outside and entrance wall paper(=Sycamore) looking well attractive stylish.

The material is glass acrylic

Our corporate colors are green and pink, two colors.

Green：Mt.Fuji is imaged for our company. Under the drawing of Mt.Fuji, 「KIKUCHI」-English letters are drawn like a leaf, aren’t they?

Pink: ①After our interior construction finishing work, we suggest the image of our customers can spend comfortably, feeling happy.

②Consideration, young image(We are growing further more continuously. )

③Imaging relaxed.

Incidentally, our top managing director’s favorite color is said to be pink (Unexpectedly surprising!)

In addition, we have also changed the reception guide as a touch panel device, and we have moved the plant formerly placed at the entrance to the meeting room.
